Kaleigh Quennec, Loomis Chaffee ’17, to Compete in Winter Olympics


Former Loomis Chaffee girls ice hockey player Kaleigh Quennec ’17 has been named to the Swiss national team for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The Olympic tournament will take place February 4 through February 20 in Beijing. Switzerland is currently ranked fifth in the world.

Quennec played for the Swiss national team in the 2019 and 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship tournaments.

Quennec previously played on the Under 18 Swiss national team, serving as an assistant captain from 2013 to 2015 and as a captain in 2016. She also plays college hockey for the University of Montreal. At Loomis, Quennec was a major part of the 2017 team that made it to the DI New England Tournament semifinals.
