Colgate junior midfielder Sam Cleveland scored his 100th point for the Red Raiders in Saturday's 10-12 loss to Holy Cross. Sam came to the Rivers School from Arlington High School and played both varsity lacrosse and varsity soccer during his time in Weston. He was a captain for the Red Wings Varsity lacrosse team in 2015, and led the Red Wings to a 12-5 record in that season. He was 5th in the ISL in goals scored as a senior with 40, and tied for 6th in points scored with 57.
Sam started both years at Rivers, and has started since his freshman year at Colgate. This spring, he was named to the Pre-season All Patriot League team. In addition to breaking the 100 point barrier, he is also just seven assists shy of breaking Colgate's single-season assist record with two games remaining in the 2018 season.
